Prepare for take off
We are preparing for take off…with blogging
OK, so it’s a late start to using blogging with our course but better late than never.
This week we will be customising an operating system…becoming competent in changing the appearance and coming to terms with different functionality of the operating system.
Apart from the tasks, which I have posted on our wikispace, I am asking you to use this blog to ask any questions which have come to mind this week or earlier.
I am looking forward to your questions.
Have a good week and a good break.

what do you think is better, xp or vista and why ?
I have not used vista a great deal and the security thing is a bit annoying but vista seems pretty good.
I guess like anything new it takes a bit of time to work out how to do things, re-learn or just find out how it has been changed from XP.
Once you learn vista and its new features you will probably not want to use xp.
At TAFE, I understand they will be changing to Vista next year. So its adios to XP!
cheers,
Neal
